Calon Cymru sponsors Keegan competing in the UK Polocrosse team

We were delighted when one of our foster carers got in touch to share the news that her son Keegan had been selected once again to represent the UK team in Polocrosse. For those of your not familiar with Polocrosse, it is a team sport played on horses with a racket and a ball, a mix between Polo, Lacrosse and Rugby.

Keegan will be heading to Zimbabwe at the end of this month to compete in the U21’s UK team and Calon Cymru will be supporting him all the way.

Keegan is no stranger to competing in Polocrosse competitions as he has competed for Wales twice and has represented the UK once before in 2019. He said:

I am very excited and can’t wait to compete abroad. I want to give a huge thank you to Calon Cymru for helping and supporting my journey and travels along this amazing journey. One day, I’m hoping I get the opportunity to compete at The World Cup.

We wish Keegan the best of luck and look forward to hearing all about it when he returns from Zimbabwe.
